Bob Horab - Owner
Bob Horab is a part owner of McCody Concrete and Horab Transport. Before starting Horab Transport in 1986, he worked in the oilfield for eight-plus years as a roustabout setting pumping units, treaters and cattleguards. Bob is a member of the TCI, ACI, and Williston Area Builders Association. He is certified in management and concrete mix designs and is active in continuing education programs. Bob loves to spend time skiing, traveling and socializing.
Denise Horab - Owner
Denise Horab is a part owner of McCody Concrete and Horab Transport. She has held multiple positions over the years, including thirty years of experience in oilfield based companies and over twenty-five years experience with DOT and other trucking regulations. Denise is a crucial part of both Horab Transport and McCody Concrete’s success over the years. She is a lifelong resident of Williston and has a passion for books, science and history.
Micki Horab - General Manager
Micki Horab is the general manager for all the divisions at McCody with over ten years of experience in multiple positions within the company. She is actively involved in continuing education training on the latest products, quality control and techniques. She is currently heading a project to implement multiple technological programs to improve quality and efficiencies throughout McCody. Micki is a lifetime local to the area, and the daughter of owners Bob and Denise Horab with a commitment to the family business. Her interests include ice hockey, skiing, snowboarding and boating.
Jeff Keller - Overhead Door Manager
Jeff Keller is the Overhead Door Manager. His knowledge and experience stems to all branches of the construction spectrum. He owned and operated his own construction business for fifteen years. Jeff has proven himself to be a qualified member of McCody’s expansion and has been an outstanding attribute to the company’s success. He is a die-hard Vikings fan, a proud Dad, and loves to travel.
Brian Grandbois - Construction Project Manager
Brian Grandbois is the Construction Project Manager. He has over twenty-two years of construction experience in commercial, residential, remodel and fire restoration projects. He has a drafting and interior design background and holds a commercial and residential contractor’s license. Brian enjoys bow hunting, ice fishing, and working out.
Luis Holguin - Construction Supervisor
Luis Holguin is the Construction Supervisor and has a history of over twelve years in supervisory roles. He is certified in light duty equipment operation, OSHA, and safety training as well as holding a journeyman carpenter’s certificate. Luis served ten years in the United States Marine Corps. He is a longtime native of Colorado and is happily married with four sons. He enjoys coaching football and running in his time.
Mert Kirschbaum - Residential & Commercial Precast Manager
Mert Kirschbaum is the Residential and Commercial Precast Manager. Mert has over forty years of concrete experience including ten years in pre-stressed concrete and lightweight aggregate. He attended the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where he enrolled in a boiler and heating plant operator short-course and a forklift operators course. He has lived in Williston for thirty years and is the proud Grandpa of two grandchildren. Mert is an avid sportsman which fed his desire to become a licensed taxidermist.
Dave Truckner - Operations Manager for Horab Transport & Oilfield Precast Sales for McCody
Dave Truckner is the Operations Manager for Horab Transport and the Oilfield Precast Sales Manager for McCody. He has six years of oilfield experience and over fifteen years of experience with Horab Transport. Dave has attended various safety training courses including OSHA, H2S and other major corporation specific training. He enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, and motorsports.
Mike Brannon - Retail Sales Manager & Logix Trainer
Mike Brannon is the Retail Sales Manager and Trainer for Logix Insulated Concrete Forms. He is a NAHB Certified Trainer and a member of the Williston Home Builders Association. He has over 26 years of individual and team oriented management sales and training. Mike specializes in Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs), Fab-form, Component Construction, and new home building. He has been happily married for 32 years and has two daughters. He enjoys riding Harleys, target shooting with his girls, skiing, and traveling.v
Mike Horab - Oilfield Precast Production Manager
Mike Horab is the Oilfield Precast Production Manager. Mike has worked in the oilfield for over thirty years, mostly from behind the wheel of a truck. After passing the 2.5 million mile mark, he decided to turn in the keys and take on his position at McCody in 2010. In the short amount of time he’s been with the company he has proved to be an invaluable asset. A self-proclaimed workaholic, he also loves to work on his farms in North Dakota and Montana.
Sandy Long - Human Resource Administrator
Sandy Long is the Human Resource Administrator. She has worked in various office settings and positions for over twenty-seven years. Sandy is a licensed notary and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She has lived in Williston for sixteen years and is married with five children. She loves to hunt, watch football and basketball, and play Bunco with her girlfriends.
Giovonny Vargas - Safety Coordinator
Giovonny Vargas is the Safety Coordinator. He has over ten years of experience in the precast industry and fifteen-plus years of involvement in commercial and residential construction. His professional career in the precast industry has given him the opportunity and educational experiences necessary to refine improvements both on individual levels as well as with a large group. Being a native of Denver, Colorado, he is naturally a Denver Broncos fan. He also enjoys drag racing, motorcycle riding, weight training, and running.
Mark Prohaska - Ready Mix Plant Manager
Mark Prohaska is the Ready Mix Plant Manager. He has over twenty years experience in the concrete industry including flatwork, finishing, basements, and tilt-up. Mark served in the military for 27 years and received numerous awards and ribbons including the Combat Driver Badge. He enjoys fishing, spending time with his kids, and being an avid Green Bay Packer's fan; he loves to attend as many games as possible during football season... and he has been bitten by a shark.
